Kayla Culley and Craig Smith were married on July 16 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Parsons. The Rev. Adam Keiter of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Pittsburg, officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Scott and Beth Culley of Lyndon. The groom is the son of Richard and Sue Smith of Parsons.

Allie Culley, sister of the bride of Lyndon, was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Julie Knolle, sister of the bride of Peine, Germany, Madison Culley, cousin of the bride of Lyndon, Jennifer Smith, sister-in-law of the groom of Wichita, Staci McDade of Mulvane and Nicole Hill of Frontenac.

Christopher Smith, brother of the groom of Wichita, was the best man. Groomsmen were Cody Michael of Iola, Michael Wichtendahl of Overland Park, Trevor Clifton of Branson, Mo., Brandon McDade of Mulvane and Justin Cartwright of Parsons.

Chad Arthur of Andale, Chad Foust of Hays and Nick Foust of Topeka were ushers.

Kaleigh Perez was the flower girl, and Aiden Culley and Joshua Smith were ring bearers.

Tim Posch was the pianist and vocalist.

Melanie Hartsell, Teresa Foust and Sharon Culley, all aunts of the bride, were attendants for the reception at Elks Lodge in Parsons.

Mrs. Smith graduated in 2004 from Lyndon High School. She earned a bachelor of science degree in elementary education from Pittsburg State University in 2008. She is the child care director of the Pittsburg Family YMCA.

Mr. Smith graduated from Parsons High School in 2004. He is majoring in plastics engineering at Pittsburg State and expects to graduate in December. He is an engineering intern at PRG Prototyping, Pittsburg.

After a wedding trip to El Cid Marina and Spa in Puerto Morelos, Mexico, the couple are at home in Pittsburg.
